What's used and what's really used when buying LEGO®

When it comes to buying second hand (used) LEGO® it can sometimes be quite the lucky dip experience - especially if you can not see it in person.  A good outcome when buying from the internet via an online shop or auction site really relies on the type of photo and description presented.  At Brick Lady we're keen to reduce this risk to you by using a condition rating system that helps to more accurately describe what we are selling.  The system uses a common scale and be found at the link below.  It's a work in progress so feel free to provide feedback.  We'll be implementing this on second hand / used items going forward.

Brick Lady's LEGO Condition Rating Matrix

Condition based assessments are rated on a basic 1 to 5 scale where 1 is Excellent condition and 5 is Very Poor condition. Where applicable, these areas of the part or set are assessed;

  • Brick condition (1-5)
  • Stickers (Y/N/S/NA)
  • Sticker condition (1-5)
  • Sticker placement (1-5)
  • Estimated originality (1-5)

  • Instructions (Y/N/S/NA)
