So I started wondering what my first LEGO® set was.  Do you remember yours?  Did you have one or are you just living your LEGO dream through your child?

If you're a thirty something adult like me, remembering what set was first is possibly hampered by your "dark ages".  That is, the period of time you were out of love with LEGO and not collecting - or even an owner.

So what was your first?  If you went through the dark ages, what was your new first?

My brother reckons our first set was an early Creator series box from the late 70's.  I certainly remember playing with the "House with Garden" set
